Live Web Demonstrations

We invite you to browse some live web-based demonstrations of our digital signage solutions. Because these demonstrations are hosted on the web and each zone's content must be downloaded before playing, you may experience some delay not associated with the actual signage presentation when played on your local media player. Content is normally cached (saved on your hard drive) and when played again, will be played from the cache.

Hiperwall© - True High Resolution Video Wall

Hiperwall Video Wall DemonstrationBasics of "Native" Video Walls

(Visit our Hiperwall mini-site to view a demonstration)

Many Large Format Display (LFD) manufacturers have implemented a methodology to create video walls natively. Most use a method that allows you to daisy-chain a video source from one monitor to another. Physically, on the back of the monitor, you might see a VGA IN and VGA OUT connection. One physically creates the matrix by connecting the VGA IN to a media player, then using a VGA cable to connect that monitor's VGA OUT to the VGA IN of the next monitor (and so on). Then you are able to enter the monitor's menu settings and select the size of the video wall to match your configuration. The content you send to the first monitor will then be stretched across all the monitors in the matrix. Many LFD's are capable of a displaying a matrix up to 5x5 displays.

Native Video Wall Limitations

When using the native capability of a matrix of monitors to create a video wall, the first monitor will receive the content and each monitor in the matrix receives a scaled portion of the image to display. For example, a 1920x1080 image sent to a monitor that is part of a 2x2 native video wall will only show a portion of the content equal to one-fourth (480x270) of the original image.

Viewsonic ePoster featuring Callaway Frames Ad

Viewsonic's ePoster is perfect for corporate lobbies, waiting rooms and hotels. Use it as an end cap to promote your current specials. Beverage distributors use them to promote their brands in liquor stores. These units are surprisingly affordable. One major distributor has started replacing their print advertising in small beverage outlets, citing the reduced overall cost when compared to changing print media.

Brican America, LLC - Scam or Misunderstanding?

Brican America, LLC (Incorporated 2006) designed and sold a signage presentation solution called Exhibeo, which according to the corporate website is a system that included "everything you would require in order to display sophisticated clinical messages and promotional materials in a modernistic format."

The basic Exhibeo system included "complete training manuals, a total computer system including a Bluetooth remote mouse, a digital camera and software to personalize your own messages, as well as the most-comprehensive optometry library in existence."

Legal Problems

According to the Charlip Law Group, a firm involved with a consumer class action against Brican America and/or Professional Solutions Financial Services (PSFS), the systems "...were largely significantly overpriced, however Brican America was able to sell the systems as a lease transaction through a practice that many of their customers have said was misleading and deceptive.

Commercial Vs. Consumer-Grade Monitors and TV's

Many manufacturers of commercial LCD and plasma monitors also manufacture consumer-grade TV's and monitors. Because of the greatly diminished feature set of these consumer products, they generally come with a reduced price which might entice one to use a consumer monitor or TV for a digital signage application. But don't be tempted. There are several reasons you would lose money in the long run if you attempt this approach. Among them are product life, picture quality, power savings, and warranty. Let me touch on those points.
